Registering domains
Register your perfect domain name with Dimpl
Before you can register a domain name, you must first create a registrant. Registrants are the legal entity that is registering the domain name licence.
Once you're signed up, confirmed, and logged in, you can create registrants in Dimpl. Registrants are the legal entities that hold the domain licences. They can be individuals or business entities such as sole traders, partnerships, or companies.
Once you're signed up, confirmed, and logged in, you can add your registrant details to Dimpl.
To register a domain, visit the domain registration page.
Some domain names or extensions are restricted to particular entity types. For example, anyone with an Australian presence can register a 'direct' .au domain, but only certain entities can register .com.au and the other domains extensions.
Be sure you are familiar with the auDA's .au Domain Administration Rules: Licensing before registering a domain name in the .au space. If you're still unsure, create a ticket and one of our friendly support staff will help.
